For me, too much beef. too much bread and not enough veg. Calories were good.

(NOT TRUE but I count clean eating for me as weeks that I limit beef to only one or two meals. It isn't a trigger for me but something I really need to watch.)

Thrilled with the dreaded RUN WORKOUT this morning. Felt fantastic after it was over!

Choc. has always been a birthday treat for me and it is also a trigger....I planned well and didn't miss it today nor do I feel deprived. FINALLY I am beginning to see what you mean when you say after eating clean for a long period of time you stop craving foods you had in the past....if I want them now it is all about emotions not cravings.

Comments/Questions? Should have read the chapter on eating with family....again. Went to lunch with good intentions and a plan, then my family changed places for lunch...all you can eat Chinese. When I got home Joe had monicals for dinner. I have no idea the calorie intake for today.
I walked 4 miles. New plan for tomorrow...I am back in charge of meals and am adding a walk to the workout. REFUSE to say "I blew it, instead....I am still learning what trips me up and how to handle it."

I didn't feel well after lunch and let my "child self-talk" feel sorry because I was sick and allowed myself to eat ice cream....continued to read and rather than tell myself "I blew it" I am telling myself the next time I feel ill, I will be aware of what my food history is and be prepared to find another way to comfort myself.....that being: soup and a nap,
I have a plan and that is the first step.
